I’m Luther

Lute for short (a nickname that stuck during my coaching days at Luther College). I’ve spent thirty years in rooms where I was supposed to be in charge and didn’t feel like it. Lifeguard, tennis pro, middle school teacher, college coach, and now VP of a medical manufacturer in Holmen, Wisconsin. Somewhere in there, I was a cross-country All-American and coached eight more of them.

Lute’s List is where I distill what I notice into one-liners on an image. Most of them seem too minor to matter (and that’s the point… read more in my book).

I’m married to Lindsey. We have two kids (Amelia and Parker). I love sports (particularily Speedgolf right now). Oh, and I wrote a book called The River You’re Carving.
