I was out at the park this morning doing my speedgolf thing. Hit a shot into some deep rough. Went to find my ball. Couldn’t. I looked and looked. Scanned the whole area. Kept walking around it. Nothing. It took me almost seven minutes to find it. And when I finally did, it was because I stopped scanning wide and started looking straight down. Focused. Present. Intentional. That ball had been right there the whole time. I just couldn’t see it while my gaze was drifting everywhere else. Life works the same way. When you can’t find the answer, the solution, the clarity you’re looking for… don’t widen the search. Narrow it. Bring your gaze in. That’s where clarity lives.
